Standard Flexible Nylon Tubing
Nylon tubing is a unique kind of tubing made from polyamide resin. Though nylon 6 is the most common commercial grade nylon, Freelin-Wade’s nylon resins allow for a lighter-weight wall, greater flexibility, and a smaller bend radius. It also offers higher corrosion resistance than other types of nylon tubing, thanks to its resistance to moisture absorption.

Literature and Additional Information
The molecular structure of nylon makes it far more heat resistant than other types of plastic, such as polycarbonate. The melting point of nylon is 374°F (190°C), far higher than many other resins. In addition to its heat resistant properties, the material’s crystalline structure also gives it high wear and chemical resistance.

Nylon Tubing Options
Freelin-Wade offers eighteen standard OD/ID combinations with ten color options (plus translucent tubing). In addition to our standard nylon tubing, we also offer high pressure nylon 11 tubing and our proprietary super soft nylon 11 tubing. All of our nylon tubing can be provided in straight or coiled configurations. We can also provide custom nylon tubing variations that are tailored to your specific requirements. We can match custom colors, configure coiled tubing, bond tubes, and cut to length. Custom printing can be added to any of our nylon tubing, with the lettering or numbering you need. Contact us to discuss your custom tubing requirements.
