Liquiflex-POE (Plastic) Tubing
High-quality flexible tubing is imperative for safely transferring fluids without cracking or contaminating the chemical composition of the liquid or material.
Wholesale Flexible Plastic Tubing
Freelin-Wade has developed Liquiflex, a new polyolefin elastomer tube ideal for conveying liquids and fluids in low-pressure applications. This FDA-Approved tubing provides all the chemical resistant properties of LLDPE tubing, and offers even greater flexibility than polyurethane all in a single tube.

Literature and Additional Information
Liquiflex Tubing Properties
Liquiflex is made from a polyolefin elastomer (POE) resin that comes from the same family of polymers as polyethylene and polypropylene. Like these other olefins, it is resistant to solvents and chemically inert; unlike those resins, it is an elastomer, making it highly elastic. Liquiflex has low pressure ratings, particularly in warm environments Liquiflex is UV resistant and formed from FDA-Approved resins.Liquiflex Tubing vs. Polyethylene/LLDPE
When to Use Liquiflex-POE Tubing
Freelin-Wades Liquiflex polyolefin tube offers improved flexibility compared to polyethylene tubing with similar chemical properties. Liquiflex offers an excellent coiled tubing option. If you bend it, kink it, or crush it, Liquiflex POE tubing will spring back to its original shape. Variation options for Liquiflex include coils and multi-tube bundles. Liquiflex-PEO shouldn’t be used in high-pressure fluid transfer applications. Variations include:

When to Use Polyethylene/LLDPE Tubing
LLDPE’s greatest advantage over low-density polyethylene is its superior environmental stress crack resistance (Polyethylene tubing’s durability and low cost have made it a popular choice for many applications. Freelin-Wade’s linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is highly flexible, but it lacks the memory and level of extreme flexibility of Liquiflex tubing. All colors comply with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520(c) for food contact applications. Polyethylene benefits include:

Benefits of Liquiflex-POE (Plastic) Tubing
The primary benefit of Liquiflex-POE tubing is its superior flexibility compared to other plastic tubing. Liquiflex will bend and spring back to its original shape, making it popular as coiled tubing of various lengths. Liquiflex is FDA-Compliant and resistant to most chemicals, making it ideal for pharmaceutical and food processing applications. Additionally, Liquiflex exhibits low outgassing, so the resin of the tubing won’t contaminate or alter the media being transferred. Liquiflex handles low-pressure fluids very well, and can be bonded into multi-tube bundles to better organize your fluid transfer processes.Additional Liquiflex Tubing Features
Liquiflex tubing can be ordered in various lengths and thicknesses, and comes in four standard colors with custom colors available upon request. Additional features of Liquiflex tubing include:- Lightweight
- UV Resistant
- Makes an Excellent coiled tube
- Can Be Bonded
- Durable
- Easy to install
- Made in U.S.A.
Common Applications for Liquiflex POE Tubing
Liquiflex tubing is ideal for low-pressure applications, particularly in room-temperature environments. It is perfectly suited to fluid handling applications that require flexibility and FDA compliance.
